Gathering praise from music giants, Robert PlantPaul Weller & Pete Townshend, Burr Island are quickly cementing their position as a rising force in the industry.

After recording at Kundalini Studios in Devon with Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene, The Specials), their first four singles garnered support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing, Radio X, BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Bristol & BBC Radio Scotland.

The duo, comprised of best friends Tom England & Oskar Porter, take their inspiration from the works of Lennon/McCartney, Paul Simon, Crosby Stills & Nash, Nick Drake, The Beach Boys and Cat Stevens as well as Fleet Foxes, Big Thief and Flyte.

Recent live shows include UK Tours supporting Ocean Colour Scene and Tunde (Voice of Lighthouse Family), playing at some iconic venues, Hammersmith Eventim Apollo & Barrowlands Ballroom to name a couple. They also played to a sold out audience at Union Chapel, supporting Paul Weller as well as two sell out London headline shows.


With their debut Album on the way in 2024, the future looks promising for the Burr Island boys.
